Each goldfish is sculpted by hand, with colors applied in multiple layers from the base coat up.
The fin lines, as fine as a strand of hair, are drawn one by one with careful gradation.
Even the smallest eyes are given presence—the whites and pupils are drawn at the tip of a pen, with a delicate outline around the edges.
The placement of each goldfish and water plant is decided through repeated adjustments of angle and spacing.
The resin used is carefully selected for each piece—high quality and resistant to yellowing.
No two are alike in this world.
